The main entrance opens into an oak floored, vaulted and part galleried hall. Doors from the hall lead to the large drawing room and a charming library as well as, in the lower hall, double doors out on to the large terrace that spans the entire width of the rear of the house and benefits from lovely views of the grounds. Also rising from the hall to the first floor is the impressively solid oak, arts & crafts inspired staircase. Down a beamed corridor, you discover the formal dining room (usually treated as a snug), with large inglenook fireplace, and at the end, the kitchen with its 4-oven Aga. This in turn leads through to a large and elegant conservatory which is an excellent entertaining space and is typically where large groups of guests choose to dine as it can seat 18!
In the working end of the house, off the kitchen, can be found a pantry, office, a second downstairs WC, and a laundry. Through the laundry you will find the boot room and back door that leads back out onto the driveway.
